19 Year old German born Hip-Hop producer “$IRWAVE” (pronounced as “sur-weyv.”) is making a name for himself in the underground scene of Hip-Hop in America and worldwide alike. Our American Student Intern Logan Nunery, had the opportunity to Interview him for his first ever interview.

Karl S, Professionally known as “$IRWAVE” has been making music for the better part of the past five years. What makes $IRWAVE different and unique is his influences of Soul, Funk, and Jazz, which he got from his parent’s music taste. He credits his mother specifically for showing him the latter of Soul, Funk, and Jazz and artists like Michael Jackson. This later became the blueprint for his sound, Which is extremely rare for talent to pursue as a soundscape In Germany, considering the geographic location and the differences in the commercial market of music of Germany to the United States of America. Soul, Funk, And Jazz are not as prevalent here in Germany. Especially when considering Hip-Hop.
“Melody Of Destiny” was released on May 18th, 2024. A collaborative project between $IRWAVE and his friend and rapper TRESHINO from America. This project blends a soulful sound that is very complimenting to both artists.
$IRWAVE is a producer who understands the importance of consistency, In the past five years he’s only continued to grow in his online presence, this is because of his constant presence. He highlights the importance of maintaining that consistent approach moving forward into the future.
